Conflicker Worm -- March 30, 2009
There has been media coverage surrounding the upcoming worldwide infection of the Conflicker Worm (also known as "Downadup") on April 1st 2009. Although this might be an April Fool's Day hoax, it is a perfect time to check to see if your PC or laptop is set to download and install updates automatically. Also check your anti-virus product to see if it is up to date.
An easy to read, detailed description of the Conflicker Worm can be found at Microsoft.com
