Meredith Computer Repair is owned and operated by Chuck Meredith. Chuck holds certifications in both Microsoft and Red Hat Systems Administration and has over 10 years of experience in Desktop Support and Network Operations. He received his Desktop Support Specialist Certificate from Boston University in 2001. He immediately started consulting for The Computer Merchant Ltd. performing desktop maintenance and support for Fleet Bank in Boston. He was then hired by the Boston Police Department in December 2001 as a technical support specialist. After being promoted twice, he became the Senior Systems Administrator overseeing the entire Boston Police network. Chuck is currently employed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Senior Systems Administrator.
He continues to attend training courses from such vendors as Microsoft, Red Hat, McAfee, Symantec, and Foundstone.
Chuck also consults for small to medium sized businesses. He has extensive experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, Disaster Recovery, Exchange, Network Security, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. He has completed projects for the State of Rhode Island and for Boston businesses.
